No flower is as festive as the Poinsettia! This beautiful plant has soared in popularity over recent years thanks to its brightly coloured leaves that act as the perfect decoration during the winter months. Originating from Mexico, the poinsettia is also known as “Noche Buena”, meaning Christmas Eve. Although it is notoriously difficult to maintain, it was estimated in 2014 that six would be sold in the UK every minute over the festive season.
