Green Office Week – Would you say your office is eco-friendly?   Everyone should try to be when the smallest actions can make a huge impact!

So how can you make your office greener?    The simplest measure is putting plants in the office to literally green your workplace!  Not only do they look good, but plants reduce air pollution in enclosed spaces and help with morale.  But don’t take our word for it, recent research and scientific evidence have shown that:

  • Plants in the workplace can reduce absenteeism by 25%

  • Plants stimulate productivity and creativity in your employees

  • Plants cleanse the air, removing toxins, improving employee health

  • Plants raise humidity and relieve dry eye symptoms

  • Plants in offices make employees feel appreciated

  • Plants create a mini microclimate, absorbing heat and reducing the level of air conditioning required

A colleague member from our trade association eFIG, has calculated that office plants could save a company more than £500 per employee each year – Facilities Manager take note!

Here at Green Team Interiors, a quick count around the office shows 12 plants, a bit extreme maybe, but we love our plants and staff are always ‘adopting’ spare plants or experimenting with new combinations of plants and planters.
